BBB Betting Tips: Yankees vs. Los Angeles Angels (4/28)

Back-to-back BBBetting wins, and it looks like we are back on track. Tonight presents multiple opportunities, but with tee-ball Tanaka on the ball, there really is only one choice.

New York Yankees @ Los Angeles Angels (04/28)

Masahiro Tanaka (3-2, 4.97 ERA) vs. Garrett Richards (3-0, 3.46 ERA)

The line movement for tonight’s game has been fascinating to watch. The money line opened with the Angels and Yankees at -110, which ultimately means the game is a pickem. To see who was favored you really had to dive into the spread, where the Angels were “technically” favored since they have the -1.5 spread (though they were listed as not likely with +175) and the Yankees were underdogs at +1.5 (but adversely were favored big time at -210). After an extra inning game it was clear nobody knew who was going to win.

With even the book makers unable to pick a winner, it is safer to look at the over/under. Today’s over under and its trending is down-right blasphemous. The game opened at a shockingly low 8.5, and has dropped an entire run to 7.5. Did they forget tee-ball Tanaka was on the mound? Even with a bounce back game his last start, the Yankees still hit the over. It’s like peanut butter and jelly, just a combination made in heaven.

Logically, with this being an entirely gut pick, we should look other areas. Grab a profitable Yankee line perhaps, or see if a +1.5 Yankee spread is still out there, but what fun is that? Masahiro Tanaka and the over, go grab it.

Final Call: Over 7.5 (-110)
