BBB Betting Tips: Yankees vs. Los Angeles Angels (4/27)
A bounce back BBBetting
win with the over Wednesday, and a New York Yankee walk off win Thursday. We are hot, the Yankees are hotter, let's keep it going. Tonight starts a West Coast swing that starts with our ace.
New York Yankees @ Los Angeles Angels
(04/27)
Luis
Severino (4-1, 2.32 ERA) vs. Andrew Heaney (0-1, 9.64 ERA)
Tonight maybe the most I
have struggled with a pick this season. The matchup is obvious: an absolute
STUD in Severino against a starter with a 9.64 ERA. This should be an easy Yankee
win, but when you look past the numbers, it starts to become tougher.
Severino is historically
weaker on the road, and a long trip with a big time zone jump always poses a challenge.
Last year he got knocked around against the Angels because of it. Heaney looked
good against the Yankees last year throwing seven strong, only giving up two
hits.
I think the Yankees magic
is swirling, and they are in a “win at all costs” mode. I do not think the
Yankees win because of a stellar performance from Severino, but because of a
strong bullpen and some late hitting. Yankees win by one, but go with the
Angels covering the spread.
Final
Call: Angels +1.5 (-130)
