BBB Betting Tips: Orioles @ Yankees 4/8

Through nine games in the 2018 season, the old saying “the house always wins” has proven to be more correct in this blog, than maybe anywhere else. With every cold streak comes a hot one, and I think that hot streak starts today. The Yankees looked great yesterday, as they do almost every time this blog does not pick them outright.

Baltimore Orioles @ New York Yankees (04/08)

Mike Wright Jr. (0-0, 5.40 ERA) vs. Jordan Montgomery (0-0, 1.80 ERA)

Today we are going to play a little “beat the cold streak” game, and go entirely against the strategy of the past few losses. In each recent game I have predicted the Yankees cover the spread, they have lost by at least three runs. When I want to predict the spread and instead grab money line? They won by five runs. Yesterday I bet the Orioles spread, and the Yankees won by five.

Ultimately what this points to is runs. Win or lose, when I like the spread runs will be scored. Today I want to be all over the spread. The spread -1.5 currently is valued at -105, which I think is a steal. I am a big fan of Jordan Montgomery, and really think that the bats will carry over momentum from yesterday. As a Yankee fan, I cannot take responsibility for the inevitable loss if I pick that line. What I can do though is see that will ultimately mean runs scored. Grab the over 9 (-115) and watch a few homers fly.

Final Call: Over 9 (-115)
