Yankees MLB Draft 2018: Yankees select RHP Franklin German with 127th pick in fourth round
The
Yankees fourth round selection is Franklin German, a right-handed pitcher from the
University of North Florida. German stands at 6-2, and boasts an impressive
curveball to go with a low-90s fastball and an average changeup. As an Osprey,
German held a 1.58 ERA, an 8-3 record and a pair of complete games in his 14
starts and 91.1 innings, good enough to earn a First Team Atlantic Sun
All-Conference nod, as well as being named conference pitcher of the week
twice.

German
was born in Queens, N.Y. on September 22, 1997, so he is no stranger to the
bright lights of New York City. The Bombers are no stranger to talented
pitching prospects, and it looks like they’ve added another one in German.
