Lockridge, born on March 14, 1997, is primarily a second baseman but was drafted as an outfielder for the Yankees. According to MLB.com, he has shown promise in CF but has a fringe arm. He played in all 56 games for the Trojans this season, batting .303 with 24 extra-base hits.
With a 70-to-80 grade run tool, Lockridge is known for his speed. He stole 25 bases in 27 attempts this season.

The Yankees will continue to seek out talented position players to balance out their surplus of highly-ranked pitching prospects.
