Yankees Injury Update: Clint Frazier reinstated from 10-day DL
Earlier this morning, the Yankees activated outfielder Clint Frazier from the 10-day disabled list. Frazier had spent the last month on the disabled list recovering from a strained left oblique and had been rehabbing with double-A Trenton in the Eastern League playoffs the past week.

Frazier went just 2-for-17 with a concerning 10 strikeouts during his rebab stint, however, the Yankees will activate him to the major league roster today, and it's likely he'll see action in at least one of the three 'road' games this week, as the Yankees return home to New York to face the Tampa Bay Rays at Citi Field.

Prior to being placed on the DL, Frazier was hitting .247/.274/.477 with 15 extra-base hits (four HRs) and 17 runs batted in, but he was on a bit of a cold streak prior to his injury, going just 7-for-45 (.167) with one home run and a poor .222 on-base percentage over his final ten games.
Frazier adds more outfield depth as the Yankees chase down their first playoff appearance since 2015, and with Aaron Hicks possibly done for the season with a second oblique injury of his own, Frazier should see regular playing time over the team's final 20 games, even considering the recent hot streaks for Jacoby Ellsbury and Aaron Judge. The Yankees will want to keep all of their regulars rested heading into the playoffs, and if Frazier can catch fire over the final 20 games, he very well just might earn himself a spot on the 25-man playoff roster.
