BBBets Opening Day 2021

WELCOME TO OPENING DAY, BASEBALL FANS!!!!! THE WAIT IS FINALLY OVER! SO, YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS, TIME TO GAMBLE!!

We started this toward the end of last season, and will look to continue and be more consistent with giving out some of our picks. These picks are courtesy of our resident degenerates: Nick, Andrew, and Matt.

Just a brief review of what some of these terms mean, for anyone who is unfamiliar with gambling terminology who wishes to learn more.

Units: a unit is your typical bet. A unit is just a universal term for gambling so that, no matter how much or how little you are betting, there is a way to quantify how well or poorly you are doing.

Odds: If odds have a + in front of the number, then that means that you need to bet $100 in order to win that number (example: Braves +108 means that, if you bet $100, you will win $108, in addition to getting your $100 from the bet back). If odds have a - in front of the number, that means that you must bet that number in order to win $100 (example: Twins -107 means that, if you bet $107, you will win $100, in addition to getting your $107 from the bet back).

ML: Money Line, which means that you are just picking that team to win. Typically, if you're betting money line then the favorite will have negative odds (- in front of odds) and the underdog will have positive odds (+ in front of odds).
