Bronx Bomber Bets 4/14/22

Hello everybody and welcome again to BBBets, your favorite place to come inconsistently for gambling picks that, so far this season, are doing really well if I do say so myself. As things stand, in the two days that I have given out picks, I have gone 4-1 (Opening Day Friday) followed by a solid 3-1 showing (Monday) for a total of +3.59 units if you are betting one unit on every pick. We’re looking to continue this nice streak today, and I have 5 bets that I really like today.

Let's start with the 1:10 game on the
bet slip, Rays vs. A's. In this game, I like the Rays -1.5 (-110). The Athletics won the matchup between these two teams yesterday 4-2 in a matchup between Frankie Montas and Shane McClanahan, and I like the Rays to take the game today by at least a couple runs.

Next we have Cardinals +1.5 (-160). The Cardinals didn't play yesterday due to inclement weather, meanwhile the Brewers beat the Orioles in Camden Yards. Both teams come in to Milwaukee for today's tilt, with the starters projected to be Adam Wainwright and Brandon Woodruff. I like the Cardinals to utilize their extra day of rest and keep this one close at the least, and possibly cash a money line victory as well.

We're going to follow that up with Braves Money Line (-110) against the Padres. The Braves will be throwing Charlie Morton, while the Fathers will be starting Joe Mussgrove. Both teams lost their matchups yesterday, with the Braves losing 3-1 to the Nationals and the Padres falling 2-1 to the Giants. I like the Braves to bounce back today and pick up the win. If you have more balls than I do, you can take the Braves -1.5 and bump up those odds to +160, but I didn't have the heart to do it.

Finally, we're going to end with a twofor. In this game, I have the Phillies -1.5(+155) and o8 runs scored (-105). Both of these are single bets, but if you wanted to parlay them you can get a nice +420 (wink) odds and score a nice payout should they both hit. Today, we have a matchup between Kyle Gibson and Sandy Alcantara. While I really like Sandy, and think he could compete for his second All-Star appearance this season, I like the Phillies offense even more and I expect them to take this one and hit a low o/u in the process.

That is all I have for today. Until next time, lets win some money!!

Nick Simonelli
