  Welcome back to the first BBBets in two weeks! I took a nice long break following a very rough 0-5 day of picks, the worst of which being a Braves moneyline bet in a game in which they ended up losing to the Padres 12-1. Before that day I was 7-2 in bets given out for a net positive of +3.59 units. After that day I am looking at 7-7 in bets that I’ve given out for a net negative of -1.31 units. One bad day ruins quite the promising start to the season. While I am slightly positive in all of my MLB bets this season (including the bets I hadn’t given out), I want to get my record back on track and move my net losses back into the net gains on my BBBets picks. With that said, let’s get to the bets.

  Hello and welcome again to Bronx Bomber Bets! This will be our second BBBets of the season, with the first being last Friday where I started 4-1. I didn’t give out any bets this weekend, but had an overall pretty solid weekend, and then saved myself yesterday by not giving out any picks (I had the graphic made and had began a blog) on a day where I ended up going 1-3. I’m gearing up to end that cold streak at one day today, and I have 4 bets that I think will return my hands to their heat from this weekend. It’s just picks from me again today, but hopefully later this season we start getting bets from our other two resident degenerates at BBB, Andrew and Luigi.

  Rough start to the 2021 for the BBBettors! Of our 11 picks from yesterday, just three hit, and if you followed our units as well, you netted out at -6.32 units.   The big winners of the day were Yankees F5 (winning after the first five innings) at 2u and -112 odds and Cardinals ML at 2u and +100 odds. Hello all and welcome to today’s Bronx Bomber Bets column. Today we are actually going to introduce a new layer to our bets, by adding a parlay to the column. For those of you who are newer to betting, a parlay is a combination of bets in which you need every single bet to hit in order to win the money. These kind of bets are very high-risk, high-reward which is why we usually like to use money line bets rather than run line. Because this is such a high risk, as you need every pick to win, the odds are often much higher than the odds for any single bet. Now that we’ve explained that, here are our bets for today:  

Welcome to day two of BBBets! Well, we had a less than stellar debut yesterday with the majority of our picks falling short.   However, our highest unit bet – taking the Yankees/Jays over – did hit at 3u.   The bad news? The Yankees got clobbered in a 14-1 embarrassment in Buffalo.   If you bet the over, at least you were able to make some money in the face of a pathetic showing this close to the playoffs.   BUT WE MOVE FORWARD.
